A recent digital piano has been a big hit with both patients and staff.
A digital piano for the communal space within the Archer Ward at Louth Hospital was requested by one of the staff nurses who had seen something similar online and thought it would make a perfect addition to the ward and she was right!
The piano is used on a regular basis by both patients and staff, providing musical therapy for the patients, as well as fun and laughter for everyone.
It's lovely to see the patients smile, as it's never a nice time for anyone to be away from their usual environment and home comforts. A lot of patients love to reminisce over old songs and our staff get everyone singing together on occasions which is lovely to see and hear. Brook Lovelock, Ward Coordinator
