Child using panel bars to walk

To show their appreciation for the incredible work our NHS staff do every day, students at Spalding Grammar School took on a virtual Land’s End to John O’Groats challenge raising an incredible £2,000 for our charity. As the funds had been raised by these amazing young people, staff at the Johnson Community Hospital (Spalding) decided to use this money to purchase new specialist physiotherapy equipment designed specifically for their young patients. Whilst standard physiotherapy equipment is provided by the NHS, these additional funds were able to be used to provide young people accessing their service with fun equipment with an element of play.

Equipment now available and used includes:

  • Track and trace balance boards
  • Junior parallel bars
  • Adjustable therapy bench
  • Tall tube sensory ball run
